Service Rods – Replacement of Your Shakespeare® or Ugly Stik® Rod Shakespeare® does not offer repair or parts for Shakespeare® or Ugly Stick® rods. If your rod failed due to a manufacturing defect and is still under warranty, we will be happy to replace it with a new rod of the same or comparable model. If your rod is within the original warranty period, Shakespeare® will need to inspect your rod to determine the nature of the defect. Shakespeare® is not responsible for normal wear and tear, nor failures caused by accidents, abuse, alteration, modification, misuse or improper care. This applies to either rods purchased separately or as a combo unit. To help us provide the best service to you please print out and complete a Product Repair/Replacement Form. Send your complete damaged rod, a completed Product Repair/Replacement Form and a check or money order payable to Pure Fishing for $9.95 postage and handling to the address below. Also include a copy of your dated receipt if you are requesting replacement under warranty. Package your rod securely in a disposable container, as we do not return rod tubes. Product Repair/Replacement Form Reels – Service for Your Shakespeare® Reel We'd like to help you maintain your Shakespeare® reel so that you may continue to fish with confidence. If you have an issue with your reel that requires repair we suggest that you send it to our service center for evaluation by a trained technician. To help us best service your reel, please print out and complete a Product Repair/Replacement Form. Include the completed form, plus a check or money order payable to Pure Fishing for $6.75 handling and return shipping, with your reel when you send it in for repair. Also include a copy of your dated receipt if you are requesting repair under warranty. Package your reel carefully to avoid damage. We suggest sending your reel via UPS or Fed-Ex (keep the tracking number). If you would rather send your reel by mail, remember to insure your package. Note: Residents of Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. territories will be billed for return shipping via registered priority mail. Product Repair/Replacement Form

5 Year Warranty Limited Warranty II: For seven (7) years from the date of purchase, the Shakespeare Company will replace your Ugly Stik Series rod if it breaks, snaps, or cracks while you are fishing. Shakespeare® Rods, Reels, and all other products 1 Year Limited Warranty For one year from the date of purchase, the Shakespeare Company, at its option, will replace rods, reels and all other products when found to be defective in material or workmanship. Shakespeare will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. ***Note: Color of replacement product may vary. For all warranties Limited warranty does not cover damage by addition to or alteration of the product, accident, abuse, or normal wear. Limited warranty does not extend to products which are put to commercial or rental use. Shakespeare will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Shakespeare makes no implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS for any period beyond the duration of this limited warranty. Some state laws do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages or limitation of the duration of implied warranties, so the above exclusions might not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. |
