Shakespeare® Spiderman® Lighted Kit is rated 1.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems from the start Just bought it today missing casting plug. No instructions on how to open and retrieve line inside spool. Screw would just spin and spin and had to mangle screw to open. This was a gift far a young child, what a let down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic screw I bought this a couple of days ago and I cannot get the plastic screw undone just as the other reviewers stated. We had a similar rod but I don't remember the screw being there. Probably not worth it based on the current configuration. As I type my other son's string just went back into the reel so that's two poles down...no fishing durby tomorrow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can't open front cover. Bought as gift for Grandson. When plastic piece came off end of line the little early went I side the spool. Tried to get screw to release, absolutely will not come out without destroying the screw and possibly the housing. Go back to thread g the cover on
