Shakespeare® Outcast Casting Rod is rated 4.444444444444445 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very strong and responsive I bought this pole today as a fun, cheap pole for a local lake. Thinking I would be catching a two or three pound bass here there, I coughs a 7 pound large mouth and the pole help up from the bite to the last second on the hook. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys fishing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Rod Set-Up I bought the light powered version for casting light weight jerkbaits. It has a soft tip for casting distance with a nice parabolic bend to it while fighting fish. I really love the split grip, very comfortable. I paired this rod with a Shakespeare Alpha Spinning Reel. A combination that can't be beat for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excelent fishing rod Excellent fishing rod is a real good looking rod I like the color and is light the best is the rod is fiberglass but feels like a more expensive rod Shakespeare continues to offer excellent products I have 7 Shakespeare fishing rods, only problem is the rod I received had tread out of the line guide so no five stars this time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love This Fishing Rod This is a great fishing rod. I was looking for a new rod and came across this one. It is light and looks great. I have 6 ponds that are close to my house that have very large bass in it. I have caught 5 pound, 2 pound and some small bream and it was a blast catching them with this rod. Not one problem and has a great feel. I now own 4 and I don't know why would anyone want to spend big bucks when they can have a great inexpensive fishing rod that will go toe to toe with any of them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased this rod the first thing I noticed was how well balanced it was, the grip was comfortable the overall length and quality were also very good. Once I put on the spinning reel I had it really felt comfortable. Overall it was a great rod for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fresh water pole Bought 2 poles because I have other Shakespeare poles and for the price figured I would give it a try. Put Lews reels on both and landed bass up to 5 lbs and could not be more satisfied. Great pole at a super price. Could not ask for anything more

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ok so I ordered this rod and the rod splits into 2 and I couldn't put it in the hole because it was too big... I tried sanding it down then I broke it. So I threw it out. It was only 10 dollars so I didn't care
