cedar canyon fly rodBought this rod to try out a fiberglass rod to see how if differs from graphite and carbon fiber. Takes a little getting used to; haven't used this slow of a rod before. I fish small streams, so casting distance is not a big concern. Casts as far as I need it to. Quality seems good. However, on my third use of the rod, when I disassembled it to put it away, the rubber in the bottom of the tip section tore off and remained in the top of the middle section (pic of bottom of tip section attached). I have used the rod since and check that connection every once in awhile to make sure it doesn't come apart.

Thumbs upThe Cedar Canyon rod is of good quality but at an affordable price. I used the rod to jig for crappie on my first outing. With bigger fish it seems a little on the light action side but it still performed well.

Shakespeare canyon river fly rodHad this for about 2 months and used it maybe 4 times. I'm a little disappointed to say the least. Tried to lad a photo but could not. Rod snapped near the base just from an easy cast. Won't buy another.
