Disney Cars Kit is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really enjoyed this until... My son received this as a gift and has been attached to the hip with it until the fish came off and got lost. I have been trying to fix the line but unlike other readers who have a screw issue, my twists off. I just don’t know what to do from there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved this.....now it's worthless We bought this for my son because his daddy was on a fishing trip with his grandpa. He wanted to be like daddy. He practiced and practiced. Then the string broke, my husband and dad being the fishermen they are said we will just restring it.......we had the same issues as the other reviewers. This product is now worthless to us because it can't be fixed. My son is devastated because now he can't go fishing with his dad!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like others reviews, my son and grandson are learning to fish so I purchased these cars fishing pole and of course the line broke and I tried to restring but the worthless plastic screw prevented me from fixing it so now they use them for swords. If I wanted swords I would of just bought them. Now can't go fishing because where I live that all they have are these worthless Shakespeare pole for kids. I'm upset and so are they.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Planned Obsolescence Similar to other reviews I just read for the Shakespeare Moanna pole, my daughter had her new Lightning McQueen pole for 10 minutes before the line broke and the rod is now completely broken thanks to the plastic "screw" preventing me from restringing. She is crushed. She was trying to be so careful and was. I will know better than to buy from Shakespeare again. This is the worst purchase I have made in recent memory.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to reline We bought this for our three year old and it was simple for him to use but once the line snapped my husband tried fixing it (he’s been fishing since he was a child and can fix any pole) and once he was FINALLY able to get the side screw out and started to try to recline it he couldn’t because the line was getting sucked into the bearings. If you buy this don’t plan on using it for more than a month.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boy loved then the line broke!! My son was so excited a cars fishing pole. Practicing in the back yard he got the dogs attention and that was okay until toby (male dog) got a hold of the line and snap. Now I can't get the line replaced. This is the worst toy I've ever seen one and done! Now I need a fly swatter to fasten to the end or just bite the bullet and chuck the hole thing in the trash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Design I bought this at Cabela's for my son... He loved it, but once the line got tangled up once, this thing became unusable and unfixable. Took it apart and attempted to detangle, but it's not designed to be fixed. I get it, its $14, but still. You should be able to fix this thing up like every other fishing reel on the market. Pretty lame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What the heck?!? I literally test casted this three times, the string broke and receive back into the reel. I figured it would be an easy restring. But no! Why in the world with Shakespeare design a product that would be useless after three casts? This is utterly horrible and I don't know how to tell my three-year-old boy he can't use it anymore.
