The Shakespeare® Excursion series provides the ideal assortment of rods, reels and combos for general purpose and bass freshwater anglers. Excursion Spinning Combos feature 4 ball bearings + 1 roller bearing for smooth operation and hand feel. An aluminum spool and stainless steel bail wire increase reel performance and strength without adding excess weight. Molded soft touch handle knobs have been incorporated to enhance comfort and precision. And the reel comes pre-spooled with Stren® line, making it easy to head straight to the water for action! For the rod, carbon composite blank construction and stainless steel guides with titanium oxide inserts, providing the ideal mix of performance and value! Premium cork handles have been added to this series for added comfort with a traditional look and feel.
