    Excellent ultralight rod, good backbone

Fantastic rod if you know how to fish ultralight gear it will last forever. If you think you can take a tiny composite rod like this and pick a fish up into your boat or drag it up on the shore, high stick it etc. you're going to break it every time., and that goes for all "non-noodle" composite ultralight rods. Get a B&M 410 or ugly stick if you want you play rough. I have no problem landing 2lb bass on the Shakespeare micro series 4'6" spinning rod.

I shouldn't have expected 😕 much. Used rod once , gave it to local Arc center. Lesson learned.
